Summary via (Amazon): It's been five months since marketing manager Katherine "Kitty" Katt started working with the aliens from Alpha Centauri, and she and Jeff Martini are getting closer. But when an experimental spacecraft is mysteriously returned to the Kennedy Space Center, Kitty and the rest of her team are called in to investigate. Now the team must survive murderous attacks, remove a space entity from a group of astronauts, and avoid an unhinged woman with a serious crush on Kitty's high school boyfriend. And that's all before evil masterminds decide Kitty's extermination is vital.

My Thoughts:  It’s been five month since the last super-being attack a.k.a. operation fugly. Kitty (Katherine Katt) is now commander of the Airborne Centaurion Division. Without catching a break, Kitty and the A-C gang get called in to investigate a spacecraft full of infected astronauts at the Kennedy Space Center.  On the way to the Kennedy Space Center, the group has to avoid deadly attacks by an anti-alien group and a fanatical woman who has a major crush on Kitty’s high school ex.

This is the sequel to Touch by an Alien by Gini Koch, and it has the same elements as the first book that made me love it; action, humor, a sassy heroine and hot men in Armani suits. All the ideas that Kitty came up with in this book are pretty ridiculous/hilarious and the thing is that they work! For example a scene where the A-C gang and the astronauts’ were held hostage by the anti-alien group, Kitty came up with a distraction plan by throwing alligators into the room, not one but TWO alligators’. Readers will also get to meet Jeff’s family for the first time, and boy are they an interesting group! For those who read the first book in the series, know that Kitty is going out with Jeff, head of field operations. In this second installment, men from kitty’s past start to declare their undying love for her, this ends up putting a kink in Jeff and Kitty’s relationship.

Overall another great addition to the series, I can’t wait to read Alien in the Family (Book #3). If you’re looking for a light-fun read than I recommend reading this series!
